HOWARD BINGHAM HAS BEEN A PERSONAL FRIEND and photographer of Muhammad Ali for the past thirty-five years. He spends as much time with Muhammad as probably anyone else, and covered every one of AliВ’s fights. This show, exclusively of Ali photos (although Howard has photographed numerous other events and people as well during this time), gives you a beautiful picture of Ali both inside and outside of the ring. When I view this show, I am proud as an athlete and person to be a small part of this fine show. I mean, did Ali photograph well or what? He certainly had a way with that camera, and Howard certainly had a knack of capturing the moment. -John-
